Extract of a book from St. John's Lutheran church Westboro, MO: | Adam Gerhardt Tiemann was born Jan. 29, 1862 near Belm, Germany and died Dec. 2,
1944. He and Wilhelmina Catharina Dietemeyer (Sept. 14, 1861-Sept. 24, 1935) were the first couple married at St.
John's on Aug. 12, 1886. They were parents of ten children of wich four died in infancy. If the couple were married they lived 1/2 mile east of St. John's on the north side of the road. In 1895 they purchased 160 acres in the next section east (now the Louise Noellsch Kemper farm) paying $47 per acre, where they farmed and lived until they died.
